Old Fashioned Butter Cake
There is something so enchanting about the good old fashioned butter cake for dessert. One thing I have to tell is this is one cake that tastes just a yummy as looks. Made from a 100 year old cake recipe, you could have the cake for dessert, eat it at breakfast and still come back for more at lunch!! Yes, it is that good!!
Made with all purpose flour, you would expect that it would be moist and fluffy, but you could not be further from the truth. The cake recipe manages to achieve a less dense cake mix without using cake flour and still taste as delicious as delicious as any cake flour cake out there.While I do not know if its the 35 minute bake time or the four minutes total of beating that makes. it so great.
I can confidently say that this recipe works like a charm.
